Phoenix  Rising International Film Festival is a festival founded by Victor De Almeida and Ewa Habdas. The festival was created by filmmakers, for filmmakers out of the love of filmmaking.

Our goal is to create a global community for independent filmmakers to showcase their films and further develop partnerships within the industry.

Once a year, we aim to put together a two-day film extravaganza with an awards ceremony at the end to celebrate that year's best films.

Get your tickets for 15th - 16th November 2025. We are excited to share with you amazing films at Genesis Cinema (93-95 Mile End Rd, Bethnal Green, London E1 4UJ).

I could not stop talking because now I had started my story, it wanted to be finished. We cannot choose where to start and stop. Our stories are the tellers of us.
